Default Piston stuck fully out on front master cylinder. Help! Please!

Decided to pull the Scram (2000 model) out of retirement and get it up and running again. I have two problems (the other of which I will discribe in another trhead). The first one is the piston on the master cylinder on the handlebars is stuck fully out with no travel whatsoever. Is there a trick to getting it moving again? Got a service manual, but it's of lttle help until I get it the piston working. The Scram has benn sitting up for about 2 years, but everything was functioning fine when I last started it. Did a search but I can only find threads which decribe how to get a psiton that's stuck fully in out and nothing on one that's stuck fully out to onseized it. Please help. Thanks again.

Either way,if its stuck out or in, I would install a new master cylinder piston kit! OPT
