Hey guys. I was discussing the need for a lift on a 2006 Hawkeye 300 recently with a guy. He can't seem to find anything. Can you Polaris experts give me some info I can relay to him? He found a kit for post 2007 MY, but won't work oh his machine. Any help for Bob would be appreciated. ![Huh](https://atvconnection.com/forums/images/smilies/huh.gif)
"......As a hunter getting up in years, having an ATV has been a dream of mine for quite some time. Last year I came across a 2006 Hawkeye 300 with only 8 hours run time. The price was affordable and the bike seemed to be enough to meet my needs. This year I was blessed to become a member of a great hunt club on the Eastern Shore of MD where Sikka and Whitetail deer thrive. Last weekend I took my first trip to the property with the bike. What I quickly realized is that when the water rises later in the season, my little Hawkeye and I may not get to the back of the property where the bigger bikes go. This began my search for a lift kit as a larger bike is not an option $$$$. The after-market company that was suggested to me did not have a solution that they were aware of for the year and model of my bike. They did suggest that I speak with the Polaris dealer to see if any of the Sportsmans used the same suspension as my bike. What I found out from the dealer is that if my bike were built after 9/4/06, it would have the same suspension as the Sportsman 300/400 - 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010... My bike was built on 11/11/05. So that put me back to the drawing board and here I am. Would anyone know where I might get a lift kit for my bike? I appreciate any advise anyone can provide. Thanks in advance. Bob. "

Are you Sure about the yours not being the same Chassis and frame of the post 2006 Sportsman 400 and 300? Look at there specs in this link 2006 Polaris Hawkeye 4x4 ATVs
Same length,Height, wheelbase, gas tank, suspension travel even Plastic.
Only different Seat height, Ground clearance and width due to the 400 having wider taller 24"x8" tires vs your 22"x7" tires.
Your 300 vs a 2008 Sportsman 300 link 2006 Polaris Hawkeye 4x4 ATVs
They are clones to me even there weight.
If I was you I would sell your little 22" tires and buy some 24" or even 25" tires and skip the lift kit.
