Default tire rubbing question 2012 550/850 Touring

I've read about bigger tires rubbing on these ATVs.

How big of tire can you go before they rub??

I have new wheels that have a 1" offset and 26x11x14 rear tires and some 26x12x14 tires.

Will they rub??

thanks

Specta, do you have a Touring now?

If you look at Fishy's thread, he has Pitbull tires and as you probably know they are big for their spec'd size. I don't have first hand experience, but have read that many others had to do some trimming to get any larger than stock tire to fit.

I'm sure he could give you very detailed info if you contacted him.

Just picked it up today, a 2012 550 Touring EPS. I put 17 miles on it already.

The wheels have a 1" offset and are not "big mud" tires so I'm sure it will be fine.

I appreciate the input, thank you.

At the top of each forum, like this Polaris forum, on the left side near the top you will see a box with "new topic" inside it.

Click on that box, put in the topic and talk about what ever you want to talk about.

I hope this helps.
