I was checking the air pressure in my Carlisle Black Rocks today and noticed that they look like they are weather cracking.
I'm running 3.5 psi in them.

As of today I have put a total of 333.4 miles on these Black Rocks; 184.4 miles on the 550 and 149 miles on the 850.
I know Doug has put a few miles on them but not many.

Over all I still can't find something that I don't like about them as far as the way they handle and their ability to climb most all surfaces from snow to rocks.

I took this pictures today of the left front tire. Both front tires look the same with little cracking on the rear tires.

I put 10,000 but then changed it to 9,000. Should have gone with my first guess.

We used to spend time in that area when we lived in Denver. Drove my truck to the top of Mt Antrero and up to Holy Cross City long before the Army Corps of Engineers drained the bog.

Beautiful country.

Sounds like the 850 is a lot more fun than the 550.

Weird about the tires. I'll check my ITP Mudlite XTRs when I get my machine back. I don't think they have any cracking after about 2100 miles.

When I first saw the blue next to the red I liked the red much better but the blue grew on me fast and now I like it better than the red one too.

The single biggest thing I like about the 850 over the 550 is it's soooo much quieter. I would have never guessed.

I saw a white Polaris today and I liked it more than the blue.

Howdy Specta.....Is it the motor that is noisier in the 550 and/or is it part of the CVT system that's doing it too?.........Thanx......NoJoke

I went for a short ride today; 24 miles round trip: FS 195 5/27/2012 - YouTube

I used 1.7 gallons of gas = 14 mpg.

The 850 has 256 miles on it and I have put on 182 of them.

I'm enjoying the 850 but it too needs a few things taken care of.

The power is impressive and is there whenever you want/need it.

I'll post another video from the ride.
