Country style Plow vs. straight plow????
Getting ready to order a eagle plow blade for my sp800ox2
I think I want the 60" country (tapered or angled blade)
but wondered what people with experience think.
My understanding is at higher speed the angle of the blade will roll the snow away
There shouldnt be a disadvantage at slower speed I wouldnt think??????????

at slower speeds or smaller areas that you cant get up to speed it will not push it away at the speeds that you would be plowing with the 4 wheeler depending on how much you have to plow a flat blade should be fine the curved "country" blades are for longer drives that you can get the speed to "fling" it outa the way

I thought most of them could be run either straight or angled. I built mine from an old mower plow, and that's how I made it, I just pull a pin and turn the blade and drop the pin in a different hole.
P.S. If you are plowing with it angled and going very fast at all, keep an eye out for soft spots in the yard...I had a hole in the drive I had filled after the ground froze and it was still soft one day when I was plowing...laid the 450 Foreman over like a steer that got dogged at a rodeo!

If you are just plowing a small area I would just go with a regular blade unless there is little or any price difference.
