Default Say hello to the new Thor Toy!

I picked up today my new ride. It is a 2012 850XP Touring Limited that was built just last week. Let the mods begin! As soon as the touring arrived I removed the factory wheels & tires with 0.2 miles on them & I installed a brand new set of C7 wheels & Black Diamond XTR tires that keep it right at 50 inches wide at the shocks set at the 2nd setting. I also added my 3 in one ATV hitch.

I will be removing the Polaris winch that came with the Limited package and installing a Viper Elite 4K or 4.5K winch. I will also be removing the mirrors that came with in and installing one of my kits. These are just too short. I also have on the way fender flares, Ricochet A Arms in black, Hid 5K lights, Rotopax fuel packs to install inside the front box and Guru front and rear bumpers.

I am also in the process of designing a lock and ride box that will fit around the rear seat and mount with the lock and ride mounts that I have made for our other lock and ride boxes. I feel that when you have a young rider like my son it is important to have something surrounding then when on the trail.

Here are some pics of the new unit.

Nice ride! Did Polaris re-design the sway bar linkage this year? I'm no Polaris expert but the linkage in your last pic looks different than I remember on older models.

Nice looking ride MrThor!.......you may want to check on the rear foot well bracket so it doesn't chew up your new rear tires, I recall a Touring thread something to that effect....

BEAUTIFUL !

Is the G2 plow mount going to fit with the Ricochet skid plates? I'm considering that combo.

Wow, nice looking. I don't think mine has ever been that shiny! Make sure you take pics after your reThoration, and tell us the rest of the Thtory. You have a knack for making a nice machine that much better.
