nope the 27x10x12 in the front will not work, height wise you are fine it is the width that will get you. you either need offset rims or wheel spacers otherwise the tire will rub on the tie rod end. the rear ones will be fine with stock rims just not the front
Of all the things I've lost in life, I think I miss my mind the most!
27" tires will fit without a lift kit with no problems, however you'll definitely have problems up front with a 10" wide because of the tie rod ends. You will need to use wheel spacers or switch to an aftermarket wheel with a more negative offset. Some guy's flip the tie rod ends out at the wheel which will work, I just don't care for it.

i flipped the tie rod on my 05 800 but that was with 28x9x12 tires i don't think even flipping the tie rod you will clear a 10" wide tireOriginally Posted by readymixer169

yea i agree in thinking it will work for a 9" wide tire, but i doubt a 10" in the tie rod trick. you really need differnt wheels or spacers as mentioned. i ran 27" xtr's on my 800 w/ no lift and it wasn't a problem.

Don't let the hp numbers fool you. Its all in how you get it to the ground. Clutching clutching clutching!

You do know that if you go bigger on tires you will have to clutch for the size and weight difference.Mainlly just lighter on the secondary spring will do it.

I agree the fronts will need spacers or different rims. I always ran spacers on my 800's with no issues. Also agree on clutching it. Normal riding you will be fine without but if you get into the mud or pulling/hauling a clutch kit will save on the belt and improve low end torque. I always ran EPI big tire kits and had zero clutch/belt issues.

On an 800 I don't think you will have to worry about re-clutching your machine with only 27's. May not be as snappy as with stockers but it isn't a must.
