Default 2009 Scrambler rear shock

I want to replace, upgrade, modify the rear shock or spring, on my 2009 Polaris Scrambler 500 4X4. The only reason for me wanting to do this is because my fat *** makes the quad sag pretty bad. I know the Works shocks are custom made but they cost a fortune. Someone told me about spring bushings or clips, but I know nothing about them. Im not really worried about losing ride comfort. I just hate the fact that the rear seems bottomed out when my fat *** is on it. LOL Any suggestions or inputs will be appreciated. Thanks.

I don't know about shocks but there are heavy duty springs available. I had to put a heavier spring on my trailblazer.

I had the same problem on my 09 scrambler, in fact the stock shock blew out completely rather quickly
I ended up replacing it with the rear shock of an '08 outlaw (non-irs version) because it was the only used shock I could find that was rebuild-able and the right length (19.5 in eye to eye iirc)
