Default Scrambler hybrid value?

So the other day I traded an old boat that I didn't have any cash in for a 2001 scrambler 4x4 that was a 500, but the guy took the motor apart to fix a water leak and ended up putting a fresh rebuilt 250 motor on. He also put trailblazer plastic on it and removed everything that made it a 500. I did get most of the 500 parts with it, but not quite enough to put it back together without dumping more money in it. It's in good shape, all the chassis needs is 1 cv boot. The plastic is good except for 1 small crack behind the seat and the seat is good, has new bars and grips. I'm gonna sell it as a 250 and keep the 500 parts for my other scrambler, just trying to figure out what kind of money it's worth.

Check trailblazer prices at NADA and KBB.

well it sounds like what ever you get for money is all profit. put $800 to 1400. on it for a quick sale.

yeah, I was thinking I'd price it at 1400 and take 1200, its in good shape, I just don't need it...hate to give it away though, the boys are almost old enough to trade thier youth rides up for big boy toys. I'll still have the 500 motor to put together after I get the bottom end up here (somehow it got left behind when I picked the wheeler up) then I can sell the 500 motor or keep it for a spare for my 06.
