Default 99 Polaris Xplorer 400 Stator Issue

I just got done replacing a counter balancer on my 99 Xplorer 400. I put it back together and tried to start it and no spark. I pulled out the service manual and ohmed all of the wires that connect to the stator. I found 0 ohms on the BLK/R and R. Supposed to be 226 ohms. I pulled the stator off the machine and checked continuity on the wires going to the CDI Charge coil which is part of the stator. All checked fine. I then noticed wires and insulation that were rubbed and some of the wires were broken on the cdi charge coil. Very fine wires. It looks like that coil can be removed from the mount. Has anyone removed that coil to fix or replace that one coil? Can the coil be fixed. Thanks

Check with RICKS or RICKY'S stators. One of them should be able to help you.Even if a new stator is recommended, they are usually cheaper than anyone around. OPT

OPT, I was looking for an Ignition Bobbin. I found one at Rick's Motorsport Electrics. They were very helpful. Trbojet
