if the clutching doesnt do enough for you; go with a full exhaust, a web camshaft, and customize the air intake to get more.i had that setup on my scrambler and it would keep up to the 800s no problem. hpd is one of the best places to go

Well I got an epi gold spring to try first. Almost went with a Polaris white spring but decided on a gold epi first. I do want an exhaust but that is not a cheap thing to buy right now for me.

Curious if you're still happy with the gold spring? Would you had rather a different spring now that you are accustom to the gold?

I ended up taking the gold out and stocker back in. My belt seemed to slip with it in. I think I am going to buy a whole clutch kit instead of just a spring.

Do you have your eye on a particular kit?

You could jack it up, pull the tires off and slide an 800 in there.

You gave me the bug... I just ordered the EPI clutch kit for my '04. I found it on amazon for $203. I have an amazon credit card and had enough reward points to bring my total down to $30.
