Not really! Just told him where to get the harness for a little over $200 (Cycle Parts Warehouse) if it came down to a replacement harness, plus the dealers parts and labor cost sounded too high for the harness replacement If troubleshooting the short took the dealer too much time, easier to replace the harness himself at about 2 hrs of his own labor. $800 (harness and labor) on top of the 500 he was into the dealer was too much! WON'T hide nothing from you stendori OPT

I am already 500 into this machine and he said if he puts the harness in I will be up to 1300. What do you think I should do?
So I picked up my machine today and brought it home took the plastics off and noticed that the harness that goes to the throttle was split in half and one wire was split to the headlight. Me and my brother stripped the conduit off the harness and checked every wire and the only wires that were broken we're the two we located right underneath the pod. Solder every thing and made the harness get a little more play around the neck. Took the machine for a ride and did some hard steering and it runs like a top. Thanks everyone for your help.

Dealer would have charge you more bucks and may not have found it! Glad you were able to get it away from him and saved some money!! OPT
