it would probably depend on your dealer more so than Polaris themselves. I have by far had way better luck with Polaris dealers than the others. At least my dealer anyway is awesome he takes the time to do what he can.

sabot,

If you bought your quad before the promotion started, why do you think you should have gotten the deal?

A GOOD dealer should give him the deal.It is only one week and the dealer certainly knew about the winch deal at the time of the sale.Customers are the backbone of the dealership, with no backbone, there will soon be no dealership.

If you bought a TV at Sears for $1000.oo and a week later it went on sale for $800.oo what would you do? Sears would give you the difference. WHY?Because they are still making $$$$$$ and they now have a satisfied customer.

I have to agree with dodgeram. How far should any dealer go back on promos like this? 1 week? 1 year. These days it seems to many people want somthing for nothing and will not take responsability for their own actions.

I'd go for it. Go straight to your dealer and ask. The worst that could happen is he says no. Obviously, the dealer has no obligation to include you since the promotion didn't start yet. But many of them will go ahead and hook you up. It's worth a shot.

If it had been 1yr.I wouldn't even think about it.But 1wk? and I asked if there were any promos coming up. The Yamaha dealer said there wheren't any promos coming up on the Kodiak either. I'm going to keep an eye on that.

When I bought my 99 Big Bear, after I got it home, I was going through a magazine, and saw a Yamaha advertisement that said you can either get a winch, or a snowplow for an additional $69 with the purchase of an atv. I called the dealer, and they said I missed the promotion by one day. I tried my best to convince them to come off with a winch, but they assured me that Yamaha closely monitors the dates on the promotions and the quad sales dates. I guess I was ok with that. I didn't want to jeopardize anyones job. Then, to beat it all, three months later, I bought my Kodiak. A week later, they had a promotion to get a Yamaha 1000 watt generator for $69 with the purchase of a new quad. Again, I called the dealer, and told them that I had purchased 0ver $10,000 in Yamaha quads over the last three months, and I deserved a little something for my efforts. They told me to contact Yamaha directly. I did so, and they advised me that the promotions weren't in force during the times of my purchases, and thanked me for choosing Yamaha as my ride. Oh well.
