Default Sportsman winter issues

Well have some issues up north again while plowing, for some reason my front hubs do not like to engage when it's cold then out of the blue they work same with the winch and the gear selection lights, was wondering if anyone had ideas for these issues, I run ams oil ATF in the front hubs should I switch to somthing diffrent in the winter? Any help would be great as always, thanks guys!

Doesn't get as cold down here(thank God!) but have had cold weather problems with atf when it was recommended before about 92 or 93, fluid had to "warm" up before the awd would work right. When they came out with the Demand drive fluid didn't have near the problems such as locking up or not operating properly during cold temps. Plus how's the battery and the connections? Could be low voltage when you first crank it up when cold unless you have it on a maintainer? OPT
