manual shifting scrambler 500?

Wondering if anyone has taken the tranny from the expedition and put it in a scrambler. Polaris should offer this as an option.

The expedition tranny is built in with the engine same as jap bikes anyway that would slow the bike down,also the expedtion is shaft drive.

I forgot that the expedition was shaft ride. Dumb idea. Still think polaris should make a manual shifting scrambler though. I think you could make better use of the power and it would make it more of a sport quad and shut up these guys with 400ex's.

I agree with you that it would be nice to see a manual shift Scrambler. I've never ridden an Xpedition, but it's supposed to be the smoothest shifting 5-speed available. It would make the Scrambler more comfortable, as it would be much narrower, and as you say, it would give you more control over the engine rpm.
Plus, if Polaris were to do that, they'd only be a manual clutch and a few pounds away from having a true sport 4x4.
