Welcome to the forum! You have an oil tank on the front of the machine and an oil pump that is calibrated properly unless it's been blocked off ! If it is then best to mix it at 40-1 ratio with basically any tcw3 rated 2 stroke injector oil.(Wally World oil or a name brand) Just try to stay with the same brand if you premix or if you use the oil tank. You don't have to buy the higher dollar "smokeless" oil if you don't want to. Oil choice is like politics, what brand you prefer! Also takes a BR8ES NGK plug,"no crank" oil but takes either Polaris gear case lubricant or any oil suitable for chain driven gear cases.Plus Polaris Demand Drive hub fluid if it's a four wheel drive. Plus 87 octane is what Polaris recommends,no sense burning premium!.
Just down load a manual from Partshark.com. and you can see that it also take 75ccs of 30 wt oil for the counter balancer cavity, dip stick is located under the carb and the manual will show how to tighten the chains and other sevice, etc! Enjoy the Polaris! OPT
