OPT I believe I found them all, the front is a large flush hex bolt to the left (facing) of the "driver" side ujoint yoke?

Rear is smaller bolt to the right (facing) of the "driver" side rear U-joint yoke.

I bought a flavor injector and some fishline tube to use (I can post pics if anyone has questions, works well for tedious filling) that I think will work great. I used this setup when I had an engine driven compressor for a s10 that I had that had air ride (EDC had similar 90 degree fill).

My question is it ok to use same injector to put in demand drive for front, angle for rear, and AGL fluid for trans? I will clean it out each time but of course there will be some left overs =/.

For the transmission I use a short piece of clear vinyl tubing hooked to a small funnel on one end. The vinyl tube fits snugly into the fill hole of the transmission and you can just pour the fluid into the funnel with no leaking at the fill hole. The only thing that i haven't found a cheat for is how to keep the engine oil from running under the frame when removing the oil filter. Also use a battery tender. I keep mine hooked to one all of the time and still have to original battery in the bike. That's 7-1/2 years and counting. I plan on changing it out this summer, my luck is bound to give out and leave me stranded sooner or later.

Thanks for the heads up, I'm sure I'll come up with something for the oil filter I hate getting oil all over the place. My YZ450F spits it out of the frame and by stock all over the back of the front tire... after one time it was enough to take the time to cut a hole in a 2 liter of soda to catch the pisser!

How I changed the oil filter on the 600 and 700s was to just use oil filter pliers and grabbed the middle of the filter and loosened it up(didn't mess with the oil filter caps) and turned it off by hand, just place a lot of shop towels to catch the oil! Learned this from day one when customers thought their machine was leaking oil when actually it was oil I didn't catch which just ran down the skid plate and dripped out! Easier to catch most of it before it gets too far and makes a mess! OPT

Thanks a lot old jinx tech. I went out to start the bike tonight and it was dead. Look for the bill in the mail in a few days for the new battery. I won't complain what a new battery costs when I get a new one this summer, The Gods have been very good to me. My 05 predator still has the original battery in it too. I firmly believe in battery tenders, I keep them on all my lawn equipment and the batteries seem to last forever. I use paper towels under the filter now but they still make a dripping mess with the oil when removing them.

Sorry for the hex,but you can't complain much on a oem Yuasa battery lasting that long! Give most of the credit to the battery tender! OPT

sorry to beat a thread over something simply to death but I changed all the fluids and it seemed the rear and front gear case required more than 5oz of oil which is recommended by the book; BUT it also states to fill to bottom of fill plug (which I did and end up taking like 7 oz in rear and 6 oz in front). I filled it until it overflowed out of the fill plug and then backed out a small amount to make sure it was level with bottom of fill hole. Is this normal?

Don't worry if you are a little over on the fluid, one of the reasons for vent tubes!Main reason to vent is to stop any pressure build up in the cases. By the book they want you to take a small wire and bend it to check level in the rear gear case(on the later 700s) which nobody ever does! If your fill plug is on the side just try to fill to bottom of fill hole)Supposed to hold 5 ozs, only, but I always put a little extra. Same on the front,I always tried to fill to the bottom of the fill plug, but if it went over a bit, didn't worry about it because the cases are vented. PLUS some manuals don't update often enough and give you specs for older machines! OPT
