Default 2002 polaris sportsman 700 twin EFI

i have to say right now i think ive made the best deal of my life.
i made a 400 dollar gamble 2 days ago on this machine that was suppose to be blowing oil out of the oil filter because of to high pressure. well i changed the oil filter put new oil new fuel new spark plugs in it and it started and is running without blowing my filters seal yet. so long story short 500 bucks and i have a running 2002 polaris sportsman 700 and man does it haul *** lol. Yes, im new to this board.

Welcome to the forum! Better pop the seat and you might see a carb instead of an efi system! Unless you have 2004 model or later. OPT
Congrats on the new ride! Be SURE to use only Polaris 2w50 OR Mobil 1 0w40 oil. Two quarts only.

it is definitly EFI so if that is only a 2004 model thing then it maybe a 2004 but i know its not 2005 because thats when the new body style came out i still have the old square head lights. I bought it off a friends dad that i helped alot and havent got the title yet from him. i was told 2002 but im not 100% sure since we all know how word of mouth goes. all yes all im running is mobil 1 0w40
