Default 2006 polaris scrambler 4x4

Is there a place on the forums to put quads up for sale. I have a 2006 polaris scrambler 500 4x4 with around 300 hours on it. It has a back rack, aftermarket front bumper, working winch, aftermarket handgaurds. i just changed the oil and put 400$ worth of new tires on it. asking 4500$ ready for the summer. Reason for selling is with 2 kids i need to upgrade to a ranger or rhino to haul the family.

$4500 is pretty steep for an 06 scrammy. kbb.com has it at $2850 max for retail value.

2006 Polaris - Kelley Blue Book

08 500 4x4 scramblers all over the place for under $3500

You'll recoup maybe 10% of the extra money you put into it- but you'd really be lucky to get $2500 - $2700 for it.

just saying.

I hear ya- all used atvs (boats & sleds) are taking a beating on the resale value because the manufacturers are slashing prices just to keep the sales moving.

I bought an 18' sugarsand jet boat a few years back for over $20k- I've since put over $6k into it- and I'd be lucky to get $7k if I sold it tomorrow- and it's mint.

if you think the kbb value is low- try asking a dealer what he'll give you for trade in value towards another atv... probably around $1500- and only if it's in mint condition.

can-am's & honda's hold their value pretty well-

I agree my uncle just bought a 06 with beadlockers and handguards, and new tires for 2200 and it is in at least 98% condition.
