Spring maintenance

Well it's that time of year...so I downloaded the owners manual for my scooter and made a list of things I am going to get done.
Anything else I should do? Is there a service manual I can download? I did some checking but I don't want to give my CC info to buy a service manual if it isn't a legit site but it is hard to tell anymore.
Also...what oil and gear lube do you guys recommend? Plugs? Filters?
Thanks!
Oil & filter change
Tranny fluid change
Gear case front & rear fluid change
Exhaust carbon removal
Throttle cable free play
Spark Plugs replace -type & gap
Air filter
Fuel filter

I got this about 2 yrs ago and it has alot of miles and hours on it. I dont trust that the POs kept it up as the machine was well used and abused.

I had mine for 5 years now and only changed the plug once(NGK) and belt once(OEM)), I use synthetic chain case oil(any brand) in the tranny once every two years and synthetic 75w gear oil in front diff also once ever two years.(any brand)
-Changed the coolant once.(any brand)
-Change the air filter ever two years(OEM),its not real dusty up here in Norther Ontario.
I change the hub fluids twice a season for all the time it takes(OEM) and change the oil once a year synthetic 0w-40 and filter (Any brand)
I grease the fittings twice a season (Marine grease) I think its more water resistance.
So I only get air filters and Hillary hub drive fluid from a Dealer.
For the newer single Hillary in the front diff I would buy the drive fliud from Polaris if I were you.
Almost forgot,I bought a Polaris OEM battery made by "Yuasa" 5 years ago and it still works great, every impressive for a $65 battery.

it doesn't hurt to check the plug and replace if needed, and same w/ the belt. fluids is a given for sure.

I tried a aftermarket Goodyear "Gator Back" belt once for a day and did not like it,it seemed to slip and even felt like hard plastic vs soft grippy rubber like the Polaris belt which never seems to slip.

I agree on belts. OEM is the only way to go! Can get great prices on ebay. Made the mistake of trying a heavy duty aftermarket belt once. It was the one, and only, time a popo has ever left me hanging on a ride. Shredded after less than 100 miles of riding.
