1989 trail boss trans year question

i just purchased a 1989 polaris trail boss 250 2wd. the transmission just grinds when put in gear. it doesnt move. what years can i get a transmission out of.

Might be just as well off rebuilding yours as parts are still available. You get another one as old as yours you could be having to tear into it. Plus you might want to check the clutches and belt out also. OPT
