Does anyone know if it is posible to put a engine out of a 2000 Sportsman 500 into a 1994 Xplorer 400?

 

Welcome to the forum! Look under "engine mounting" on both atvs and you will see what would be involved.Browse. Not counting the wiring harness, motor mounts,fabricating motor mount plates,etc. It can be done as some have even installed motorcycle engines in atv frames,but you would need not only basic tools,but a welder. Simpler just to find a 500 Sportsman complete. Plus if you have an Explorer 400,you have at least a 95 model or later. OPT
