I work on a couple of buddies quads once in a while, one of them has a 97 Sportsman 500 that has been ridden hard and put away wet! We've repaired or replaced about the whole machine. Now it seems as though the front gearcase has quit. All the propeller shafts turn up to the gearcase but not the half shafts to the front wheels. Anybody else seen this? Anybody know what the cost of new replacement would be? Is it possible to find one used? Any help would be appreciated.
