Have you guys bought a Venom 3000LB. winch and what kind of luck have you had. Good or Bad? Easy install or hard? How are the instructions? Thanks.

From everything I've ever read on them from others, it sounds like a coin toss. Some have had good luck with them and others not so much. Spend a little extra and get a Warn.

I have a 3000HD on my King. Have had the 3000 on a 2010 Teryx and a 2007 Rhino before that. Had great luck with them. One thing i can say is they are sealed watertight. I have had them submerged many, many times.

No, the old Gorilla brand is now Promark. They were not sealed well at all. Lots of failures from water in them.

I had one on my rincon- winch worked great but I did have to replace the solenoid- no big deal though- new off ebay was $16.

I have two of them. I have the max series. I have heard the base line is pretty cheap but not that durable. Both of mine seem to be working fine. They are about 2 years old. They are on xp's so they are prettt low and have benn submerged many times.
