I just traded my scrambler for a new 400ex and I absolutly love it. It has way more power handls better, and I am no longer afraid of getting some air. I do not miss 4x4 or revers, well maybe just a litle litle bit, but not enough to consern me for more than a few seconds a month or so. Good luck selling your machine. I tried and only got one call on the thing. Luckily the local honda dealer gave me a good deal on it for trade.

I just had to click this thread. It looks to me like the warning signs that they say to look for when one may commit Harry Carry. LOL!
I sincerelly hope that is NOT spelled right. My Jap is a bit rusty. (Domo arygotto Mr. Roboto)? But I think you should get the idea. My keypad only has letters, not those funny little icons. LOL!

Me too. I am looking at the Cannondale, Raptor and DS. I want power and light weight, along with a comfortable ride, great handling, and reverse would be nice. The Cannondale is expensive but loaded and ready to go. The Raptor
has reverse, light weight, and lots of potential,
+2 A-arms and axle a must, along with taller tires and skidplates, we got a lot of rocks out here. The DS has the big quad feel, great power and suspension, and maybe the best deal, but I hear it's a little twitchy in the handling department.
Rumours of a 650 Honda, a 700 Polaris, and a cross-country Cannondale(at least 2 years out) keep me thinking. The EFI on the Cannondale would be so great in these mountains, 4000 to 9000 feet without jetting!
The only things on the H.O. I will miss will be the ride, from the Independent rear suspension right up through the soft seat, and the ground clearance, oh yeah, the handling too. That just right touch of oversteer, and 4x4 where I need it.
I'm so confused.....
