Max shift rpm for 2011 850xp eps
Hi,
My buddy has installed bigger tires on his bike and is looking for a bit of improvement in the low end. He has the service manual that shows the optional springs for the front and riven clutch but they do not have shift rates on them. The book does not show max shift out + - for the engine either as they do in the snow mobile manuals.
Does anyone know what the 850 is supposed to shift out at? I know it is now the 7800 + - 250 that the sleds are rated at. Nice to know so that we can start experimenting with drive clutch springs first as he is looking for a bit of more bottom end and the book shows a spring with more compression at low end and about the same as stock on the top end.
I have also seen comments about people trying the Dalton black/white, EPI Gold or Polaris White as spring options. I am thinking that locally we will be looking at Polaris unless we order via the internet.
Any comments are welcome.
Thanks
