Default 2012 Sportsman spring change

Hi everyone, Ive got a 2012 Sportsman 850 I'm getting ready to put a new plow on. The original springs already seem too soft so I ordered a pair of Polaris HD springs.
Will I need a spring compressor to swap those out?

Thanks!

Not at all. You can change them without a compressor but you will need to lift the front of the bike to release pressure on the spring retainers. You also have to be carefull not to let the axels release from the knuckles. Do a search and you should be able to see step by step instructions. I posted mine when I did my 2008 500 Touring but I think there are other posts as well.
