Set the meter on ohms value and measure the wires from the stator that lead into the cdi. Then test the coil. OPT

The only other thing I can think of (IF I haven't already mentioned it) is to pull the black wire connection from the reverse limiter module located under the front panel. Its a square module with the only black wire on it. The other square module is the regulator/rectifier. PLUS make sure the thumb throttle doesn't have a lot of slack. Keep about 1/8" slack only! If neither of these sugestions help then I think you're finally at the point to where if you and your friend can't get it to run then it might be time to let someone who's experienced look at it. If "everything" is correct it should be running by now. Some where something isn't right.Maybe something you did or didn't do.You've done well and it's a learning experience for a 17 year old especially without a lot of tools and without a manual! We could keep this going for another 8 to 10 pages of dialog ,but I'm worn out same as you are.Someone experienced should be able to find what's wrong in a short period of time. OPT

IF you'd gotten a manual, looked carefully at the links I posted as I suggested on the FIRST page of comments,8 pages of back and forth comments wouldn't have been necessary!!! Plus you never even bothered to look at your engine model and design long enough that I posted links for you, when you asked questions like "Does the 250 have a cam chain?" Whether your 21 or 17 doesn't matter to me. You've already showed you're maturity level to the entire forum! I'm here to help those whom I can and am able to help. I'm not here to be chastised by someone that won't listen. Feel free to visit other forums son and see how far you get with that attitude. OPT

Default OPT? are you still available to lend a hand with a similar issue as posted here?

[
im having some similar issues and have a couple off concerns id like to ask about. I read through this entire thread and I was just amazed with how much patience and dedication you had throughout, and I have to say, as I neared the end and read how much your skill and knowledge was unappreciated I was at a loss for words. unreal and sorry for that. I assure you any knowledge you can share with me will be more than greatly appreciated. thank you. im new here so I have to mouse around a bit and learn how I will be notified if you respond. I have also sent you a friend request, thanks in advance.

I'm here to help those that need or want help the same as many others on the forum are. What one person doesn't know, someone else will usually have an answer.. Just state your problems in detail as much as you can on your machine. Year, model, symptoms, etc and hopefully you can get some good tips and advise.
Saw your other post, sounds like you have things pretty well under control. For any replies post in one section or the other not both, gets confusing!
