Cool After market sprocket sizing

I have a second hand Outlaw 500 that i have been fixing up. I have noticed that alot of the after market front sprockets are 13t, and the original sprocket is 14t. Does any know whether the stock chain length of 90 will still work well with the smaller front sprocket, and will i run into issues with the chain not clearing the frame wear pad. Thanks. Ken

Welcome! Not an authority on this by any means, but I jumped UP one tooth on my street bike to help lower rpms in high gear. Looks like Predator owners are dropping teeth to gain more torque. Don't really see how one tooth could affect it that much on the way the chain rides on the wear pad,but do see you will have to tighten the chain up and don't know how far the limit is on this, cutting a link off if necessary?? If I'm wrong I'm sure any Predator owners will correct me if they see your post! OPT
