I need a new strut housing for my sp 500 wants 280.00 for the whole thing or 179.oo for just the housing,is that a fair price?is there a place to by used parts?

 

What is wrong with the one you have ?

 

The inner pole keeps spinning and cutting the coil wires.I drilled and tapped strut housing and this inner pole sleeve,I didnt go all the way through the sleeve,but now it leaks oil where the two come together just behind the outer seal sleeve.Polaris manual says its time for a new strut when inner pole spins I thought it might be worth a try,if youn have any idias let me know.
