It's not marked,you'd have to make your own alignment marks. If you have the bearing and a good press to be able to do this then go for it! On most I encountered,no marks that I noticed. But some later ones had two small alignment marks. The key is to not damage the water pump shaft end of it when you heat and press the gear from the body.Plus if the shaft end is worn,it needs to be built up and resurfaced. I experiment with damaged ones,but there's a big difference between being just a mechanic and a machinist that has tons of specialized tools hanging around.
