Default Blowing out ATV air filter, ok?

Is it ok to blow my air filter out? Gently, inside out?

Yes,but if it's real dirty replace it. Clean the mesh filter in soapy water and if you happen to have any electrical spray cleaner, makes the pre filter look new without hurting it.

A leaf blower is almost the same size as the filter and works fairly well.

Thanks. it is not too bad at all, so I will blow it out for the time being. Being that most of my riding is the roads, I think that is why it is so clean.

i've actualy lightly banged one on the ground to get the heaviest dirt out and then used air to blow one out if it wasn't mud or oily w/out doing any harm. if your pre filter is doing it's job, then that should be the one that is really dirty.
