Default Update and ...93 250 2x4 Was Running..... But no spark now.

So I tore the engine apart did a full top end build as the crank bearings were good and no play in the shaft. So I ordered a stock piston, but it didnt fit. PO had had it bored out so now it has a 73.5mm Wiseco piston. Did the carb rebuild kit and she was running yesterday, not wide open but running and well enough to go around the yard a time or 2.

I go to start it today....and no spark what so ever. The starter works, the starter button and the key switch works and powers everything that it needs to. I used a good spark plug today and the one from yesterday, and still nothing......so...where do I need to start? The CDI, the coil, the stator? Kinda at a loss for words since it was running yesterday and today....nothing...thanks for any and all help.

Start back at the beginning! It must have compression, spark, fuel and air. Do a compression check even if you replaced the top end and check that you have good spark with a plug against the engine. Plus did you replace the crank seals? Few people remember to do this.If you don't have spark down load this pdf manual and it will show you the electrical checks on the ignition.http://gh-ftp.com/ORV%20Manuals/Pola...0All%20Models/
