Topper, it would appear that your intent on this forum is to thrash anybody who won't join you on your witch hunt. If your correspondence with Polaris is anything like your letters on this forum I'm not suprised they won't call you back. I can only assume you were this friendly with the dealer as well.

That is not what I am trying to do.......I was not like this the first time I had trouble with this machine. I apologize to everyone that I put down or disagreed with. I want to thank you for your opinions. But after the 5th (charging System) and 6th (transmission) problems you would be getting angry too. Right?

Hang in there Topper, Ive been waiting for Arctic Cat to act on my defective paint problem since May. All of the welds on my machine are flaking and rusting, and the wont fix it....Stick with your brand loyalty and dont experiment like i did. I read your original post some time ago.

Based on the information you provided I would conservatively estimate your runtime hours at (288 hours) times an average speed of 25 mph yields 7200 off-road miles. That's a lot of miles for an off-road bike. The problems you describe would not be unusual if the bike was not properly maintained. The Trail Blazer does not have enough power to break a chain, I suspect that the tension was not adjusted correctly (I don't know if that model year had the concentric drive system). I currently have two Trail Blazers and have had no problems. Since 1982 I have owned and ridden Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki sport and race bikes. If you know how to ride them and maintain them, they all provide good service.

Like the dealer, I would not offer you $2500 for a 3 year old bike when you can by a new one for $2950. The fact that you financed the the bike and paid substantially more than the going market price is your problem.

If in fact Polaris is not responding to you, shame on them. No customer should be treated that way. However, after reading your posts, I can understand their reluctance to take you seriously.

You are accomplishing nothing with your comments. Nothing you have said would impact the decision of an informed buyer.

Gary, I agree!!! God, I feel bad for this guy, but do you see him actually writing a mature, factual letter to Polaris?

None taken..............I am seriously trying my best not to **** anyone off. And if I do I am sorry. As for the chain...that came from the factory.......I didnt do any adjusting. So that was Polaris' fault.

Sorry guys but I will have to say I have been noticed problems with Polaris' stock chain. I own a 98 Scambler with the conetic drive and I needed to replace the chain after ~10 of the rollers broke, I use RK O-ring chain lube every week on it. A friend's chain on his 98 T.B. broke after only like a month of use and the replacement that he bought from Polaris has broke. I think that the stock Polaris chain is week, and has a short service life, because I have taken 4 factory equiped D.I.D. chains 10 years.

P.S. I noticed Polais rear brake pads seems to wear out fast, whoops that maybe from me trying to keep the front end on the ground.
