Hello i have a polaris sportsman 500x2 2009,i have had trouble about 2 month a ago with my map sensor,the wires had come loose,i am going to get the harness kit for it soon but i was out onit yesterday and when i was on the quad for a while it seemed to start ticking over like it was going to cut out then sometimes it will cut out?it seems to be more when my radiator fan kicks in,could this be down to my map sensor getting hot and playing up as when i leave my quad to cool it is okay. I was thinking it could be the battery though as in the day i dont seem to have to problem but i may just be thinking that i am not to sure.any help would be appreciated. Regards

Just get the map sensor harness repair kit and see if it solves the rest of the problems.Cutting out,dieing is one of the common problems when the wiring shorts among other things. Only The Best

 

Thankyou i will do that, which harness connector would it be for the 500 x2 model on this link. Only The Best would it be 1st 2 nd or 3rd. Thanks

 

The second harness listed is for the map sensor for your 500,called a pressure sensor repair kit in the description.
