I don,t disagree with the theory but most cases the electrical system is designed to run the ATV with high beams on for as long as you want.
My battery is 4 years old and I run with the lights on even in day time as a safety feature.
Before I bought the new battery 4 years ago I ran the ATV with a dead battery for a month by just starting it with the pull rope and everything worked normally.

That looks very cool. I`ve got a small fortune in leds on my Harley. You must have some serious cash tied up in yours. Not going to spend that much on my ATV. Gonna splurge on spots if the plow works out (she`s an old one). It`s interesting how halogens look yellow next to leds or hids. When halogens first came out they were so much whiter than incandescent. What`s going to be next?
