Default ? for a friend

My buddy has a rzr 800,2012 I believe.Well anyway he installed a 2 in. lift and upsized the tires, not sure on the size, but not too much bigger than stock. We were debating a clutch upgrade.Anyone think its necessary/not necessary,pros/cons,and or benefits,or just leave it stock?

I ,d just ride it and give it a try. May not need a thing done to it. In nasty stuff just use the low range and no way the belt would ever care how over sized the tires are.

If only going up an inch or two on tire size it shouldn't be an issue. I have always went with EPI mudder/big tire clutch kits and never had a problem with them. They give more lower end grunt which will help extend belt life with bigger tires but do take a few mph off top end. Ran 27's on my RZR without a clutch kit for about 6 months when new and the stock belt was still like new when I took it apart to upgrade (saw plenty of deep mud while still stock).
