95 xpolerer creak and crack sound from rear
#1
when I turn the bars hard left or right and roll the xpolerer around the shop it makes creaking or cracking sound from the rear, maybe rear axle bearing? sounds like bad bearings, hard to tell where its coming from, also when I grab the rear rack and move the bike side to side it looks like the swing arm moves around up front at the pivot point, what do the pivot bolts tighten up to and are there any common weak points on this thing and where should check out ?

Sounds like it's time for new swing arm bushings, plus jack the rear end up and see if you can move the drive shaft back and forth. If you can, time for new bearings and seals.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse

I wish it was shaft but its chain and this case better cause chain and sprockets are in great condition, I orderd the bushing in the swing arm, 2 inner and 4 of the outer. I got this bike in a trade(95 xplorer and 02 lt80 not running for my 86 Yamaha yfm 350 ert and that junk Chinese 72 cc that turned out not so bad after I found the wiring trouble, several bad brass blades on the end of the wires) and it came with a snow plow, well the guy finely dropped off the plow and its a Polaris plow, he said it came with the xplorer from the dealer and it even says Polaris on the plow, I was surprised.
