Like the concept but not this first try.
850lbs with a 327cc motor? Even though it is DOHC with 32hp , with that low displacement it will not have the low end grunt needed for that weight.
No problem in low range on slow sections.
Why not put the new Sportsman 570 in the machine?
Sitting down with a steering wheel and only 48" wide sounds fun.

Seriously, it's an interesting idea. I think with just the 570 in it, it isn't going to sell as well as a regular RZR. I do like the idea of a balanced machine with the driver in the center. Put the 850, 900, or 1000 in it and it will sell like crazy. Polaris certainly doesn't rest on its haunches.

The RZR 570s that my son and a buddy's son rented in Utah to ride the Paiute Trail had good low end grunt. Their main complaint was the top end was lacking. They have the cams and transmission geared towards low to mid-range torque but not much of a top end. $7500 compared to $10,300 for the RZR 570 and $11,500 for the RZR 800 doesn't sound too bad. The more I look at it, it's an XP based 570 quad with the engine moved backwards and a lower seat height.

Maybe not as low, but they haven't done much more than change the seat and steering, then put a roll bar on a quad.
Has much bigger tires than the old Odyssey I rode. That would give it a few more inches clearance there.
I like the concept, just not the finished results. Over time, hopefully they can refine it. Rest assured, the others will have something similar soon.
