Default Wanting to run 25x11x12 on Trailboss

I have 2 dunlop 25x11x12 AT489 new tires off a 2012 ranger.

This is for the REAR

1997 2wd Trail Boss 250(ugly green/white one)

Would it cause heavy transmission wear to run 2-3" bigger tires? I know if the bike had the 14t front sprocket it would lose alot of low end power. I have the 12t front sprocket, and have found many 11t front sprockets for cheap on ebay.

Basically will 25" tires cause mechanical problems? Would gearing down help?

I posted this in another thread, but the thread itself wasn't relevant to what I wanted to know.

Better yet, what oversize tires(if any) do you guys run?
