Green Polaris engine oil?
#1
I found a great deal on ebay for a polaris brand oil change kit for my '03 700. I opened it up and the bottles looked strange to me because the last time I bought one of these kit the labels on the bottles were white and blue and these bottles are white and green. I didn't really think much of it because I've only bought one polaris kit before until I started pouring it in my bike and it's green
. This can't be right can it? I haven't started it yet. The bottle says premium 4 atv & utility synthetic all-season 4-cycle engine oil. Part number 2871281. Anybody seen green oil before?

It's 0w40 what most people still use.#2871281 Pure Polaris Premium 4-Cycle Synthetic Oil Quart from Bargain Bin You're not limited to just Polaris oil although it covers all temperature ranges for the most part. Along with Mobil1 0w40,Amsoil 0w40,some people like 5w40,5w50,etc. Just depends on where you're located and what brand of oil you prefer.

I've been running mobile1(least expensive and readily available around here) 0w-40 in my wife's 330 for the last couple years and it seems to like it pretty well in the florida heat. I wouldn't have bothered with the kit but it was cheaper than I could buy 2 qts and a filter locally. But as long as it's supposed to be green then I'll keep it in there. I just have never seen green motor oil before so I wanted to double check to make sure I wasn't getting "had". Thanks guys!
