Default Hey olp

Got another question for you, finally got back to fixing the atv and found the left front axle cage is broken and bearings broken or should I say missing ..
Anyways the question i have is regarding the control arms, should they move ? Meaning the way they Are constructed by the balljoint it's almost like a sleeved bushing over the 2 rods/arms and they slide over one another?

No the control arms(swing arm) shouldn't move.If it does bushings along with the ball joint could be worn. This was a weird set up on the early 4x4 and finding replacement parts for this thing may be tough. Item #34 on the break down.Items#36 were rubber cups if you still have them. Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse There's a listing for a cv joint on ebay you might want to look at before it's gone..This is the correct one shown in the Polaris Parts Catalog for your model.http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Polaris-ATV-4...3D141321904028
