Default 2004 Sportsman 700 Motor Help

I bought an 04 700 that had one of the ears broken off the jug (like so)
Mine only broke one side tho.

Anyway the piston is jammed now and it broke the cam in 3 places. I plan on repairing all of this. (replacing what needs it)
How does one remove the motor mounts to split the crankcase?
Thanks!.
I plan on keeping this an ongoing thread.

Could be a little of both. I've had a few myself that have thrown rods, had a couple that broke the cam at the turned down journal area that holds the cam sprocket. Plus have my own souvenir piston from one of these machines. Best I can tell you is to look at this pdf service manual to see how things tick, what special tools you may need, along with the good details on engine rebuilding, timing up the gears, etc. It's from a 2004 MV7,but the engine, mounting is the same. http://gh-ftp.com/ORV%20Manuals/Pola...V%20-%20SM.pdf

Thanks! Unfortunately It seems that it would be logical to find a short block. Are all 700 short blocks the same? I found a fuel injected one with 50 hours (need to find why it was pulled first) for $500. I think that would be the logical bet.
I definitely have a rod bent, probably a lot like your photo. My cam is broke in 3 places. And also the previously mentioned cylinders.
