Default 2009 phoenix rear end noise

I bought my daughter this little bike, and i notice when she hits a bigger hole, there is a loud noise which seems to come from the rear diff area. It sounds almost like chain slap from a loose chain or something, but these are shaft drives. I can't replicate it on a stand to try and pin point the noise, as it takes a bit of force to make it happen. Does anyone have any ideas what this could be. The overall hours are pretty low, and the general shape of the bike is really good.

Didn't have any problems on the Phoenix as far as rear ends, had a 2006 Sawtooth that had basically the same rear end we had to replace the ring and pinion when the owner didn't catch a leak in time.Hopefully it's just something minor.Dirt Cheap Yamaha, Honda, Arctic Cat & Polaris OEM Parts & Accessories – Cycle Parts Warehouse If you just bought it,I'd at least do fluid change on the engine and rear diff. Lot of things in the rear end including the brakes that could be making the noise. If it didn't come with an owners manual, here's where you can get one. Polaris ATV, Snowmobiles, RANGER, Victory
Plus a 5 buck service manual is even better.2009 Polaris Phoenix 200 Service Manual PDF Download

yup i already changed fluids, and it didn't look like much metal in the rear end. I did notice however the rear hand brake when snugged up until drag is felt by hand still does not work very well with the lever all the way to the bar. Maybe something is loose there.
