Default Sportsman 500 EFI burned Stator connector

Hi,

A few days ago my sportsman stops charging the battery, when I start to do the test mencioned on manual, i noticed the stator connector burned 2 pins!!

What can cause this? where can I find a new one? i found this one 4 Way Electrical Waterproof Connector -OTHERS AVAILABLE | eBay in ebay but i think they are not strong enough for the stator!

This is usually caused by heavy loads with moisture in the plugs . The plugs are no good anyway , why not splice the wires permanent with butt connectors ? You can always put the plugs in later when you procure them .

Check the stator tests in the manual. If the stator is faulty a new one will have a new connector. If the stator is ok,this place should be able to help with wiring connectors/parts. Electrical Wire Connectors And Terminals (888) 988-5398 from Polaris ATV, UTV, ATV Parts & Accessories, Power Tools: Sacramento Or even places like Ricks or Ricky Stators.
