Anyone ridden here? My girlfriends sone lives not far from that area, good to know next time we go visit bringing the Sportsman for sure!
The Coal Creek Mining and Manufacturing Company announced the opening of 72,000 acres for multi-use recreation activities. There is over 250 miles of trails for riding of a variety of vehicles including ATVs.
The land will be open for use by a land-use permit system. This means all vehicles within the park borders are required to have a permit sticker. The cost of the stickers is $50 for a year and $10 for a day.
The CCMMC land resides in four counties: Anderson, Morgan, Roane, and Scott. It is near the towns of Harriman and Lake City.
Trail mapping does not currently exist, but steps for GPS mapping are underway.

As close as I get to Chattanooga is the Cherokee National Forest.
I ride at CCMMC quite a lot. As a matter of fact, I will be helping with the Polaris Pro ride there starting tomorrow.
We would like to invite everyone to come and enjoy the best riding in East Tennessee. The beautiful thing about this area, besides the scenary, is that it is privately owned and we don't have to deal with politicians.
For more information on Coal Creek's land, visit the Windrock ATV Club's web site and click on the CCMMC logo on the left side of the page.
Hope to see everyone here soon,

Shucks, I'm just maily riding in back yards and home made trails right now. I did find a nice track in Beth Page, TN. The owner turned about 100 + acres into a riding area. He charges $10 a head and you ride til' ya can't anymore.
Other than that, there's just not many choices here (I'm about 15 miles out of Nashville). Chatt is about a 120 miles from me, sounds like this place may be worth the drive.
