Default Polaris DAGOR- A Look At True Military Grade

At this year's Association of the United States Army Annual Meeting, in Washington, D.C. , Oct. 13-15, Polaris gets to unleash the DAGOR for the first time.

The DAGOR was designed and tested, and is now under contract and in production – all in less than two years – leveraging Polaris’ world class off-road engineering and design capability, to meet an emerging threat to SOF and light infantry forces.

We take an in depth look:

Like the beefy looking steering linkage, but exposed drive shafts need to be protected. But guess it wouldn't matter if they ran over something that goes boom..Quick way to get in and hopefully out in a hurry.

Does Polaris have a big enough motor for that? They do not mention the power plant.

Well, they've finally started making full size vehicles now.

I like it, don't get me wrong. But it's basically a jeep with a smaller engine.

I wondered what the name meant and I found this - As for the name, Polaris won't say what it means, except that it's not an acronym, but it does happen to the word for “battle” in the Elvish language of Sindarin used in the works of J.R.R. Tolkien.
