Default Looking at a 1994 scrambler

Hi,Everybody:
I looked at a 1994 scrambler 400 today, it has 4x4 and the lever has Hi/Lo, Neutral, and reverse. I thought the scrambler was a crotch rocket racing
quad why the Hi/Lo. or is it like a early sportsman or trailboss?

Sounds like some swapped transmissions or plastics or whatever..Scrambler 400 or any Scrambler for that matter didn't have a low range, plus the Scrambler 400 didn't come out until 1995. You can check the vin# on the down tube by the shift box. If it's a true Scrambler will show at least a W959840 as the series number plus the numerical serial number for a 95 model. If it's a W94 series,it's not a Scrambler, either a Sportsman 400 (W948039) or a 400 4x4 (W948140).Really don't know what you have.Plus you can check the 5 or 6 digit serial number at the Polaris website.

Default 1994 Scrambler

Thanks,Tech
The Quad has the body style of a Sportsman or Xplorer not the big bat wing fenders on the front it has a Red body and grey fenders I think it is a 400L.But will look at the serial #.
