Default Front Struts

Hello,

I need new front struts/springs for my 2001 325 trail boss.

How do I know what length to get?

Or if other years like 2008 from ebay will fit on my machine?

You have the Front: MacPherson strut, 6.7" (17.0cm) of travel its the only strut Polaris put on most all their ATVs up to 2005, my 500 has the same ones. 2001 Polaris Magnum 325 4X4 ATVs in 2005 they moved to the MacPherson strut with 8.2 in. (20.8 cm) travel. 2001 Polaris Magnum 325 4X4 ATVs

When my cousin needed a strut for his 2000 500 Scrambler he found one off of a 1999 500 Sportsman that fit perfectly with hub, rotor and all.

2008 will not work since the 6.7" was long gone plus the locking Hillary hub went over to a single locking front diff so the struts hub assembly is also different.

Here is your machine and a 2004 4x4 ,http://www.atvreviewnetwork.com/enth...le2=8658&go=Go even though they both have the 6.7 strut it will not work since yours has the locking hub and the other is the locking diff so the hub assembly is different.

Anything 2003 or less will work except the Sportsman 700 which got the locking diff first in 2002.
