I have a 2004 700 efi sportsman that I resently bought. it was running fine at first until I ran it out of fuel in my yard. I filled the tank but now it will not start unless I hold the throttle open even then it is very hard to get to fire up and then it wont idle. any ideas on what it could be. I don't really know what about efi bikes so any help is appreciated

 

may not be, but you may want to check the fuel filter to make sure it isn't dirty from sucking the bottom of the tank. maybe worse it may be a faulty fuel pump. just an idea.
